It’s hard to imagine an efficient game here. This is the fourth match in a row, and there are still more to play, so they will likely conserve some energy. Slovenia is focused on the result, and if they build a good lead, there’s no doubt Dončić will get some rest on the bench.

In the last 20 games, Iceland hasn’t gone over this line against any opponent, except once against Poland. On the other hand, Slovenia is of course more efficient, especially against stronger teams. Even if they put up 100 points today, it’s hard to see Iceland reaching 80.

This should come through quite comfortably, and things will already be clearer at halftime, where I expect around 83–84 points. Even if the first half is efficient, the third quarter usually brings fewer points. We’ll see how it plays out.
